Its been week of Celebration!!!

Monday we celebrated 100 days since transplant. This was a big day. Now I will start to feel more like myself and my immune system will start to become stronger. This was a big mile stone on our journey. The day started with breakfast at cracker barrel with Chris the best husband in the world. Who has been with me from the start and has never left my side. I couldn't be more blessed with such an AWESOME husband.
That night my cousin Melissa threw us a party. All of my family was there. My sister couldn't make it we missed her so much. Thank you Melissa for making my day special.
If you want to see pictures from the party check out my cousin Melissa's blog. www.thegrimeslife.blogspot.com
Tuesday we had to have bone marrow biopsy to make sure the cancer is still in remission. We were put in remission back June but my doctor likes check at 100 days. On Thursday we found out we are still cancer Free! Praise the Lord! He is Amazing.

Well we were suppose to go Round Rock for the weekend but my sister and brother in law were sick so we couldn't go. So we stayed here. I was really upset. So Saturday morning took me to Ft Worth for breakfast. We spent the day doing different things. We went to the Ft. Worth gardens and and Fuzzy's Tacos for lunch it was really fun. We went to my brothers for dinner and played joker. Here a few pictures from our weekend.

Talk about a Wednesday NIght adventure.

Well last night we had to go to the ER.. I was at home waiting for Chris to come home from. So I was in the kitchen putting my dinner in crock pot and grabbing a snack. I walked across the kitchen when Hershey(our dog) decided she needed to walk right under my feet. So my snack goes flying in air and I fall down on tile floor. I get up on my hands and knees and notice blood on the floor and rushing down my chin. So call Chris and tell him what happened and he rushed and left work. We make the drive to St.Paul ER and my mom meets us there. We left the ER with steri-strips and derma bond for the busted chin and bruised ribs. Needless to our life is never boring!

Terrific Tuesday

Today I went for photo treatment it went well. Then we had a clinic visit and all my numbers look great. The doctors lowered some of the medicine. Which is good thing and very exciting. Then I came home and got to finish some projects I needed to get done and relax. Tomorrow I get to spend the day with my Nanny shopping and running around having a fun day! So excited!

Well Life has changed!

Our life at the Roberts house changed in large way. God has brought us to new journey in life. It has turned out to be an amazing experience and God has revealed himself to me and Chris in so many ways. On April 22, 2011 I was diagnosed with AML Leukmia, it was very much a shock to us. We have had two rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplants. God blessed us with a 19 year old donnor. We will not be able to meet her until next July. I'm feeling great and progressing very well. The doctor is very happy with the way things are going. This journey has been so amazing. Chris is the best husband in the world. He has never left my side. I love him more and more each day. My family has also been so amazing they have been so helpful and loving. Some people think and would excpect me to be down and out but I have never been more happy with my life. God has done so much for us and shown Himself to us through this. People have been very generous and encourging to us from day one. I hope to continue share my journey with you. Stay tuned!
